The wait is finally over! Since a large tree fell and damaged the pool area and welcome center over a year ago, the Thousand Trails Las Vegas RV Resort has operated without some of the basic amenities usually offered within the TT system. But this week, all that has changed. All at once, construction was completed, inspections made, and the welcome center reopened.
While they still hope to plan an official “Grand Opening” with a little more hype, TTLV management and rangers were anxious to be able to offer amenities to guests and opened up the building and pool area as soon as inspectors gave them the okay to do so.
So what can guests at the resort expect? In addition to a warm, sparkling pool and soothing jacuzzi providing family fun throughout the day and adult-only swim hours in the evening, guests now have access to a spacious lounge with plenty of tables and comfortable seating, a television, and a coffee bar with free, fresh-brewed coffee available each morning.
Out on the pool deck, propane grills will be available for guest cookouts with grill brushes provided for easy clean-up. The entire resort will have free wifi within a week or two, and Sunday church will be moving back into its cozy indoor setting. After services, football fans will gather to cheer on favorite teams. Bible studies will be hosted Sunday evenings in the lounge.
Several other member-generated activities are expected to resume almost immediately, including game nights, bingo, poker, and karaoke. And soon, resort management will pull board games, puzzles, and reading materials out of storage for guests’ enjoyment.
Thousand Trails Las Vegas offices, which have been temporarily housed in a small construction trailer, will also find a home in the Welcome Center. Additionally, there will be a store offering a wider selection of food and drinks, RV supplies, and souvenirs ranging from T-shirts to tumblers.
If you haven’t visited the Thousand Trails Las Vegas RV Resort in a while or were disappointed by the lack of amenities during their time of repairs, you’ll be happily surprised upon your return. It may just be time to plan your next visit!

This is exciting news. We will certainly be there when we make it west. Las Vegas is one of our favorite cities.
I’m glad it’s all available to guests now. By the time you get here, I’m sure they will have more activities planned out each week. It seems that at this point, they are all member generated but should be consistent.
We will be there the first of April for a week…..can’t wait. Son is getting married at ti.
Congratulations to your son and his fiancee! That’s exciting news! I’m glad it will be nicer for them now that a pretty area to relax is available.
