Despite an impending volcanic eruption, a fairly strong earthquake, and a vacation rental just a couple of miles from evacuated areas, our family had a great time exploring Hawaii’s Big Island.
From the summit of Mauna Kea to black sand beaches and steam vents at Volcanoes National Park, it was a blast!
