If you love fun experiments, we’ve got one for you to check out and maybe even try yourself! This video shows what happens when attempting to pour water over the Hoover Dam during periods of strong updrafts. The wind rides upwards along the wall of the dam so fast that it doesn’t allow the water to flow downwards as expected, and the water appears to defy gravity. Often, it even travels over the person pouring it and lands ten feet behind him or her! When trying this experiment yourself, use clean water, and be sure no one is about to walk behind you. Also, protect the environment by being especially careful not to drop anything over the dam. Enjoy!
