Alright, so we’ve been sitting on the launchpad for FAR TOO LONG. I don’t even like caps, but if ever a sentence deserved a liberal use of upper case letters, that was it!
Yes, err, the launch. We’ve had our RV since last September! If you’re paying attention to the launch date, you’ll see that we’re launching over a year after we got her! Youch!
Finally, now, we’re cleared for launch. All of Galactica’s systems are operational and ready to go. Now she will fly! Watch her soar. Add overuse of poetic language, smilies, and metaphors here. Moving on!
Launch party is this Sunday, after which we will light this candle and make our way south to Weston. We’ll spend a few days there before heading to Key West unless, of course, soon-to-be-a-hurricane tropical storm Matthew decides to visit Key West as well.
In that case, we will bravely dump that plan, and faster-than-light jump ourselves to Savannah, Georgia. Who knows? The sky’s the limit, as they say.
